About
A new home for tabletop in the Mountain West.
The Arena Convention is a first-year, two-day gaming convention coming to Pocatello, Idaho on June 18 and 19, 2027. We're building it for the players, makers, and families who already love this stuff, and for the ones who haven't found their game yet.
Our mission
We want a regional convention that takes tabletop gaming seriously, treats families well, and gives Idaho's growing community of game stores, designers, painters, and tournament organizers a place to gather. Pocatello sits at the crossroads of Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana. We think it deserves a flagship event.
Who it's for
- Players. Board gamers, TCG players, miniatures hobbyists, and RPG groups.
- Families. Weekend passes are designed with families in mind. Kid-friendly programming runs all weekend.
- Vendors and creators. Local game stores, indie publishers, and hobby creators who deserve a spotlight.
- The wider community. Universities, gaming clubs, and groups across the region looking for a yearly anchor event.
What we're planning
Tournament floors with brackets running all weekend. A free-play library that anyone can borrow from. A vendor hall with 35+ booths. A 60 x 25 foot food area. Painting events, family activities, and special guest announcements rolling out through 2026 and early 2027.
Where we are now
The venue is locked. Sponsorship and vendor outreach is starting. Tickets open on Black Friday 2026 (November 27). The full event schedule will land in March 2027. Until then, the best way to follow along is to join the email list.
